On April 19 was held the 4th scientific and practical conference of young scientists «Translational medicine: from theory to practice».
The conference attracted the great interest of University academic staff and representatives of other research and educational institutions: Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, St. Petersburg State Technological Institute, Northern State Medical University, Institute of Experimental Medicine and Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
The conference was aimed at sharing of experience between young scientists and specialists on conducting scientific researchers in different field of medicine and implementing of its results into practice. Translational medicine is a new stage in the development of medicine including the transfer of scientific achievements from fundamental and applied research into practice. Within the conference was taken place a broad discussion of presented reports, questions and essential recommendations that allowed young scientists to improve their reports.
The conference was attended by 250 young scientists and specialists from different Universities where were presented about 20 oral reports and 6 posters. During this scientific event were selected 3 best scientific reports for the following competition «UMNIK» organized to provide grant support for young scientists.
