On February 1-7, 2018 a delegation from NWSMU  including Alexey V.Silin, Acting Vice-rector on research and innovations, Alexander V.Melzer, Acting Vice-rector for preventive medicine, Nathalie V. Zinserling, Head of the Department of International Affairs and Natalya V.Erastova, Head of the department of the preventive medicine development visited the Nagasaki University. Within the visit the Parties held negotiations on prospects of joint educational program and scientific activities, visited University hospital and simulation training center.

The prospects for the exchange of masters, post-graduate students and residents in the fields of radiation safety, epidemiology of noncommunicable diseases and environmental hygiene are planned and agreed. Currently, working groups of representatives of NWSMU, Nagasaki University and Fukushima Medical University commenced the development of programme of cooperation.

Moreover, within the visit the members of the delegation together with the colleagues from Minsk, Gomel and Kiev, attended the 2nd International Symposium on Radiation Safety "2nd International Symposium of the Network-type Joint Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science".
