Russian-Norwegian course «Patients safety and personalized therapy»

On October 22, 2018 the Russian-Norwegian intensive course «Patients safety and personalized therapy» was solemnly opened at North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov.

This two-day event was very important for our University. The organizers of the course were Oslo Metropolitan University and North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov (Department of Faculty therapy). The Rector Sergey A. Sayganov and Mr. Dag Malmer Halvorsen, Consul General, Royal Norwegian Consulate General St. Petersburg, addressed with welcome speech.

Presentation about the course was given by Yuri Kiselev (Oslo Metropolitan University), and representative of the Department of Faculty therapy, associate professor Tatiana V. Ermolova also greeted Norwegian colleagues. Professors from Oslo Metropolitan University and Oslo University were lectures of the course.

That course was very important and useful for scientists and medical practitioners, physicians, clinical pharmacologists in order to optimize treatment safety (drug interaction, individual drug-responsiveness).
