1. Request for an invitation in the prescribed form

2. Application form for a visa invitation.

4. A photocopy of a notarised translation of your passport.

5. If you are residing in a country of which you are not a citizen, please provide copies of the documents that give you the right to reside there (a document granting the right of permanent residence).

If you successfully pass the entrance examinations, the invitation (in electronic form) will be sent to the e-mail address you have indicated in the application form.

Based on the application form, the Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation in the country of residence will issue you a single-entry visa to enter Russia. The visa will be issued to you in accordance with the dates given in the invitation.

Once your visa has been processed, please notify the University of the date of your arrival in St Petersburg via email ovir@szgmu.ru.

Upon arrival in Russia, you must take a repeated PCR test. Until the test results are received, you are required to be self-isolated in your chosen accommodation: at a private address, in a hotel or the University dormitory at 1/82 Zanevskiy Prospect (please be sure to inform us of your need to stay in a dormitory 5 days prior to entering Russia!).

Once you have received a negative PCR test result, by 17:00 (5 p.m.) on that day or the next day you should visit the Department of Visa Support and Migration Registration at 47 Piskarevskiy Prospect (building 32, 1st floor, room 12) to be registered at the University.

Please also note that in accordance with the Federal Law 274-FZ, foreign nationals and stateless persons arriving in the Russian Federation for purposes unrelated to labor activities for more than 90 calendar days are required to undergo state fingerprint registration, photographing and medical examination. Please see more information here

Looking forward to seeing you in St. Petersburg!
