All-Russian scientific and practical conference
in medical microbiology and clinical mycology (The XVI Kashkin readings)

The All-Russian scientific and practical conference in medical microbiology and clinical mycology (the XVI Kashkin readings) was held on June 19 - 21, 2013 at the University: www.mycology.szgmu.ru

In the frame of the conference took place:

  • plenary meetings;
  • topical sections;
  • reports of leading experts;
  • satellite symposiums;
  • round table;
  • 7 master classes (enter the list of participants);
  • school on identification of microorganisms by the mass spectrometry MALDI-TOF method (enter the list of participants);
  • poster session following the results of the Competition of young scientists and students;
  • meeting of the commission on the nomenclature of pathogenic and opportunistic funguses;
  • exhibition session and practical demonstration of the latest equipment and kits for microbiological diagnostics.

June 19, 2013:

Awarding of the winners of the Competition of young scientists and students took place on the opening of the conference. Reports are made by the experts from France, Italy and Sweden. Within the ceremonial event the award of P.N. Kashkin "For outstanding merits in development of national mycology" was given.
