Department of haematooncology is opened in NWSMU n.a. I.I. Mechnikov
The department of haematooncology is a part of the center of haematooncology and transplantology of the clinic n.a. E.E. Eykhvald. The employees are the doctors passed training in the leading oncohaematological centers of Russia, Germany, Japan.

Diagnostics and treatment of the oncohaematological and hematologic diseases including lymphoproliferative pathology (non-Hodgkins lymphoma, lymphogranulomatosis, chronic lymphatic leukemia;), myeloproliferative diseases (chronic myeloleukemia, idiopathic myelofibrosis, erythremia, essential thrombocytosis etc.), multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, types of anemia and hemorrhagic diathesis are carried out at the department.
Our experts also take direct part in work of the city center of differential diagnostics of the lymphoadenopathies founded in NWSMU n.a. I.I. Mechnikov in August, 2013.
Along with the carrying out diagnostics and treatment of wide group of diseases of blood circulatory system, there is a register of rare (orphan) blood diseases (paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and immune thrombocytopenia) in the center of haematooncology.
