The results of student’s scientific works competition-2014

Results of student’s scientific works-2014 competition in the Mechnikov University were summed up.

There were altogether 14 scientific works of students from 8 departments. At the first stage all works were examined by “anti- plagiary” system and evaluated in absentia. At the second stage the authors of 6 best works presented their reports to the contest committee on 8 April 2014. The votes were distributed in the following way:

1-st place – Georgiy A. Rysev (Faculty of General Medicine, group 239). Morphological and functional features of granulocytes and monocytes in the blood under normal conditions and in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia. The research coordinator - PhD, ass. prof. Marina V. Andreyevskaya.

2-nd place – Ekaterina S. Shvaychenko (Faculty of Preventive Medicine, group 507), Hygienic and nutritional evaluation of new types of crisp bread for the prevention and treatment of alimentary-related diseases. The research coordinators – Doctor of medicine,  member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and International  Academy of Ecological Sciences, Safety of Human and Environment, the Honored Scientist of Russia Prof. Vladimir A. Dotcenko, PhD, ass. Inna A. Kononenko.

3-rd place – Maria A. Zhukova (Faculty of Preventive Medicine, group 307), Alexsey V. Kebryakov (Faculty of General Medicine, group 541), Pavel B. Bondarenko (Faculty of General Medicine, group 444), Vadim V. Zaytsev (Faculty of General Medicine, group 637), Nadezhda S. Koplyarova. Predictors of cardiovascular instability and its impact on the outcome of reconstructive interventions in patients with vessels disorders.  The research coordinator - Doctor of medicine, Prof. Mikhail A. Ivanov.

The winners will present their works during the plenary meeting of the conference “Mechnikov readings” on 22 April 2014. The finalists will be rewarded with certificates, their research coordinators will get money reward.
