On November 23 was hold a solemn ceremony of the City Contest «Student of the year» among Institutions of higher education of Saint-Petersburg.

The ceremony was attended by Georgy S. Poltavchenko, Governor of Saint- Petersburg, Vladimir V.Kirillov, Vice-Governor of St.Petersburg, Heads of different committees of St. Petersburg and rectors of Universities.

We are happy to announce that students from our University reached the final in 3 following nominations:

  • The best promoter and organizers of healthy lifestyle;
  • The best manager of student government in campus;
  • The best organizer of volunteer activity.

Otari G. Khurtsilava, Rector of NWSMU named after I.I.Mechnikov took part in the award of nominees and students and also congratulated all the participants and guests of the contest.
