Traditional Chinese medicine — experience in Russia

On March 20, in NWSMU was hosted scientific and practical conference with international participation «Traditional Chinese medicine – experience in Russia».

Prof.Wang Zhaoyang, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Head of Health center «Traditional Chinese medicine» (St. Petersburg) explained the basic principles of this ancient learning as well as demonstrated several clinical cases from his medical experience that were successfully treated:

·Atopic dermatitis;

·Chronic hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia, obesity;

·Sleep disorders;

·Chronic cervicalgia, muscular-tonic pain syndrome.

 

During the workshop he underlined the importance of cranial acupuncture in the treatment of neck pain, back pain, effects of injuries, stroke and others diseases and combination of acupuncture with phototherapy in the treatment of pediatric, gynecological, gerontological  and other internal disease.
