There is an outpatient clinic at the university which provides primary care for students.

What kind of care is provided at the clinic?

• First aid for students and staff in case of sudden illnesses.

• Referral of patients to specialists of clinic and hospitals, if necessary.

• Organization of preventive and health-improving work aimed at preserving and strengthening of students' health: medical examinations, fluorography examinations, etc.

• Sanitary and hygienic and educational work that promotes a healthy lifestyle among students.

 

I am ill, which clinic should I go to?

University students visit outpatient clinics under the compulsory medical insurance policy at their place of residence, however, students can also receive emergency primary health care at the student outpatient clinic.

To receive medical assistance, you should contact the clinic's reception and have with you:

1. Student card;

2. Passport;

3. Medical insurance policy.

 

How do I get medical care if I am a foreign student?

1. Obtain a VHI (voluntary medical insurance) policy that provides coverage for the following types of medical care: preventive medical check-ups, diagnostic examinations, consultations of specialty doctors.

2. In case of illness or injury, contact a student outpatient clinic or insurance company for referral to a medical institution or on a paid basis to the city medical institutions.
