A lecture for students from Srivenkateshwaraa Dental College was held at NWSMU
On July 6, 2022, a lecture for students of one of the India's leading dental institutes, Srivenkateshwaraa Dental College, was held as part of an international summer school. Oxana Shalak, Associate Professor, Head of the Teaching and Clinical Dental Centre of North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov, delivered a lecture on Diagnosis and treatment of patients with gingival recession. The University Training Department and the staff of the Faculty of Dentistry of NWSMU jointly organized this educational event.
During the lecture, such issues as the topical classification and modern methods of diagnosis of recession of various gingival classes were highlighted. Students were presented with detailed examples of clinical cases of surgical treatment of patients with gingival recession including concomitant diseases of periodontal tissues.
The lecture aroused great interest in the audience. At the end of the conference, it was decided to continue the series of lectures for students of Srivenkateshwaraa Dental College in India and NWSMU students as well.
