Specialist’s program 31.05.01 General Medicine, English Medium Instruction

            The deadline for submission of applications and documents for reinstatement and transfer from other educational institutions for the Specialist’s program 31.05.01 General Medicine, English Medium Instruction:

                 Second year of study:

from 9.00 am 09.09.2024 to 5 pm 16.09.2024

                 Reinstatement to the third and fourth years of study and transfer to third – fifth (3-5) years of study:

from 07.10.2024 to 15.10.2024

            Interdisciplinary testing days:

for reinstatement candidates previously expelled by the University and transfer candidates (if there is a competitive selection):

Second year of study – 19.09.2024;

Third – fifth (3-5) years of study – 17.10.2024

back-up day:

Second year of study – 20.09.2024

Third – fifth (3-5) years of study – 18.10.2024

Attestation Commission meeting will be held:

Second year of study – 20.09.2024

Third – fifth (3-5) years of study – 18.10.2024

Interdisciplinary testing subjects for candidates applying for reinstatement and transfer to 31.05.01. General Medicine, English Medium Instruction, in the autumn semester of the 2024/2025 academic year

Documents required for reinstatement and transfer shall be submitted (sent) by the candidates to the University in one of the following ways:

1. in-person at the address 47 Piskarevskiy pr., building 33 (1^st floor, 115 room), St. Petersburg, Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 5 pm
2. remotely by submitting the application with attachments at least 200 dpi. in pdf to the e-mail address of the Department of Planning and Organization of Training: oup@szgmu.ru. 

            The testing will be held in-person. 

List of documents necessary for reinstatement and transfer of foreign students

General professional educational program 31.05.01 General Medicine (EMI) in the autumn semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at I.I. Mechnikov’s North-Western State Medical University

1. Study certificate (statement on the training period). The document should also contain information that the student continues studying, the number of credit units/in-class hours completed.
2. Document on secondary general or vocational education with a notarized translation into Russian;
3. Passport and its photocopy;
4. Certificate of recognition of foreign education (for foreign citizens, stateless persons and persons educated abroad).
5. Notarized translation of passport into Russian;
6. Medical certificate (086-У) certified by the University medical office and X-ray data;
7. Statement from the employee of the University Department of Visa Support and Migration Registration on the legality of the foreign citizen's stay in the territory of the Russian Federation.

            How to obtain this Statement:

• Citizens arriving within visa regime by the University’s invitation should provide passport (and passport translation) with visa, migration card, and 3x4 photo.
• Citizens arriving within visa regime by tourist, visitor or work visa should provide passport with visa, migration card, detachable part of the notification form on the arrival of a foreign citizen in the place of stay with a period of migration registration valid for the reinstatement period.
• Citizens arriving within visa-free regime should register themselves at the hotel or private address and provide passport with visa, migration card, detachable part of the notification form on the arrival of a foreign citizen in the place of stay with a period of migration registration valid for the reinstatement period.

8. Contract for accommodation in the University dormitory with a receipt of payment (for citizens who reside in the University dormitory during the reinstatement period).
9. Statement from the previous place of study confirming that the university has no objections to the transfer and has no financial or other claims against a foreign citizen (for citizens transferring from other universities).
